Mr. Levy is the firm's Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Alerian Mr. Levy was previously a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Partners, the Private Equity Division of JPMorganChase. Mr. Levy managed the group's tax department as well as several of its investment partnerships. Prior to his association with J.P. Morgan Partners, Mr. Levy spent over eight years in public accounting at Ernst and Young and Price Waterhouse, primarily advising mutual fund and hedge fund clients such as Morgan Stanley, PaineWebber Asset Management, Dreyfus Corporation, and Alliance Capital on the tax treatment of complex financial instruments, including high yield and emerging market debt instruments, derivative investments, hedging strategies and foreign security transactions. In addition, during his time at Price Waterhouse, Mr. Levy was responsible for the preparation and review of federal, state and local tax returns as well as tax related disclosures in financial and SEC registration statements.

Mr. Levy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a M.S. in Taxation from Fordham University and a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University
