Mr. Loftin has served as a Managing Director at Alerian since 2009.

Previously he was a former Director of Institutional Equity Research Sales at the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets. During his five years at RBC, Mr. Loftin focused on midstream energy MLPs, organizing roadshows for MLP executive management teams, on-site asset-specific diligence trips, and performing in a portfolio management role as well as serving the needs of other infrastructure focused institutional clients. Prior to his time at RBC, Mr. Loftin worked in similar roles at both Lehman Brothers and Hoak, Breedlove, Wesneski & Co.

Mr. Loftin graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Management and Law. Upon graduation, Mr. Loftin served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and earned his Master of Science in Finance from University of Texas at San Antonio.
